Formally known as Phra Phuttha Rattana Mongkhol Maha Munee, it is the fourth-tallest standing statue in Thailand. It is 59.2m tall and made of concrete.

Luangpho Yai is located in Wat Bhurapha Phiram, which is a third-class royal temple in the center of Roi Et city.

The statue stands tall and is visible from a far. I recommend visiting early in the morning in order to get clear photos.

A beautiful chedi in the temple grounds.
